What shall I say about my lovely mum Lynda, she was a loving wife to Jimmy for 28 years, they had two loving children Pamela and Terence, and two lovely grandsons Declan who was 5 years old when mum was taken away and Reece who mum never got the chance to meet, but Reece knows all about his special angel in heaven. Mum had the most lovely parents Margaret and Terry Elliott, and one loving sister Janet.

Mum had been a nurse all her life, and right up until the day of going into hospital she had been doing the night shift at Alder Hey on the Neo-Natal unit were she worked. Mum had many friends at Alder Hey from her colleagues that she worked with to all the babies and their families she looked after all the time she worked there.

When mum first got ill, she was getting treated for gallstones, but our world fell apart on the 25th May 2000 when we got told that mum had cancer. Mum came home on the 26th May 2000 and sadly passed away one week later on the 2nd June 2000 with all her loving family around her.

Mum you may have gone from our home, but you will always be in our hearts forever, our world was so much more beautiful with you in it. WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER XXXX

Happy 60th Birthday Nan

Another birthday has come around
And there's nothing we can do
But sit for a while and picture your smile
Just like we always do.

Birthday wishes we send today
To a star in the sky, not far away,
Engraved in gold on a cloud above
Just for our nan, with all our love.

Nothing is more beautiful,
Than the memories we have of you,
To us they're very precious
Because they are of you

Hope You Have A Party With The Angels Nan, We Will Love And Miss You Always

Lots Of Love And Kisses

Happy 60th Birthday

Happy 60th Birthday Mum
It will be the best one yet
Though you left me here behind
Did you think i would forget

Your cake it will be surely
A beauty to behold
With icing made of silver
And candles made of gold

Your special day in heaven
Will be such a grand affair
And I know you will look lovely
With a halo in you hair

Angels will come from everywhere
To sing your birthday song
And I know they’ll be so happy
That you’ve joined Gods happy throng

I can’t send you a card this year
Or a gift so fine
So ill just send a special prayer
To a lovely mum who's mine

Happy Birthday Mum love and miss you always xxxx

There's magic in a dear Mum's touch,
and sunshine in her smile.
There's love in everything she does
to make our lives worthwhile.
We can find both hope and courage
Just by looking in her eyes.
Her laughter is a source of joy,
her works are warm and wise.
There is a kindness and compassion
to be found in her embrace,
and we see the light of heaven
shining from our dear Mum's face.

You will only ever have one mum
Patient kind and true;
No other friend in all the world,
Will be the same to you.
When other friends forsake you,
To your mum you will return,
For all her loving kindness,
She asks nothing in return.
As we look upon her picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.
Sweet Jesus, take this message,
To our dear mum up above;
Tell her how we miss her,
And give her all our love.

Love and miss you always and forever mum xxxxxxxxxx

A letter from heaven

When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand,
that an Angel came and called my name,
and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready,
in heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind,
all those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
a tear fell from my eye,
for all life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
so much yet to do,
it seemed almost impossible,
that I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
and maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized,
that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from His great golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity,
and all I've promised you".
Today for life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.

But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart
